  • One of our core pillars is STRENGTH! The top priority is ensuring our community feels confident and competent in their movements. This class will be DOUBLE-DUTY.

    If you are a beginner or novice, looking to work on the core movement patterns - squat, hinge, pull, press - this class will afford more time and focus to get in those practice reps and learn, refine or dial in technique.

    If you are someone experienced who wants to lift HEAVY more often, then this is the opportunity for you to do so! (Think 5x3 Front Squats with focused squat prep and ample rest to maximize our lifts safely).

  • Absolutely! Our main level has an accessible washroom with a full shower. Our upper level has two single use shower rooms, a bathroom with a toilet and a bathroom with a urinal. All with shampoo, body wash and conditioner. Hair dryers and full towel service are also provided.

  • For your first class. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early.

  • No. We do not sell any water or sports drinks at Tidal. We do have a place to fill a water bottle and extra bottles should you forget your own.

  • Yes. There is plenty of parking to the side of the building, along with 2 accessible parking spots.

  • While our programmed workouts are infinitely scalable for all levels of fitness, we do understand this type of training may not be for everyone. Come for a drop-in class and see if it’s for you!

  • Tidal has a variety of equipment, so you should expect something different everyday. Whether it’s squatting a barbell, carrying a sandbag, pulling a sled or running on a treadmill, you will learn and execute a variety of movements daily. Every movement is scalable to your fitness level, so don’t be intimidated! Our goal is to make you feel safe and confident in each and every exercise you do. 

  • We do not offer any discounts aside from the first month promotional membership and for a 6 or 12 month membership.

  • Yes. We pause memberships for a minimum of 1 week and a maximum of 4 weeks.

  • We are not a CrossFit gym. Our programming pulls from multiple disciplines, CrossFit being one of them, but we are not affiliated with CrossFit.

  • We believe that the most important way for kids to work on their health and fitness is through play. Our classes a catered towards adults and so we have a minimum age of 16 for any interested young members.

  • We do offer very limited personal training. Due to size of the space and our focus on the group class model, we are limited in the times that we can fit in personal training. The only available times are between 1-4pm Monday-Friday and only if a Coach is available to take on a new client. Email us to inquire about availability.
